Isbel
Child Born at County Poor House - Inmates at the county poor house are increasing in number – not in grown-ups as much as it is in presentations of the old and popular bird, the stork. This week heralds the birth of another wee small baby girl to N. L. Isbel and wife. Isbel has been blind for some time. He is 65 years old and his wife is 25 – a difference of forty years in their ages. The baby gives signs of being a healthy, robust child, weighing about 7 ½ pounds at birth.
This is the second baby born at the poor house within the past four months, the first being that of “Blind” Tom and wife.
